What is left behind once the stump has been removed?

Chippings/Mulch is left behind which is easily disposed of e.g.: organic compost, border chippings or removed from the site.

Factors when calculating price: 

Stump Diameter(s) - Stump Height - **Debris Removal

The stump removal equipment we use has a maximum stump cutting height. To allow for terrain and landscape variations we may be required to lower your stump in order to orientate the machine and cutter into a safe position. As one of our services, we offer a lowering service by which we will lower the taller stumps to a height that our equipment can easily navigate around. 

**Debris Removal Option - Upon request, after the stump grinding has taken place, we will haul off the stump debris leaving a hole where the stump was removed. Keep in mind, as a result of the grinding process, a 4"-12" deep hole will be left where the stump once stood which could pose a potential hazard. We recommend that you fill the hole with fill dirt, topsoil, and sod if desired. This will eliminate the potentially dangerous hole in your yard. This additional service is not included in the standard price.

*For the lowest prices make sure that the stump is cut as low to the ground as possible. Although we DO NOT cut down trees we can cut off your stump to ground level for grinding. Prices are also determined by how accessible your stumps are. Most jobs are straight forward, however there is always the rare cases that will not follow the simple estimating guidelines. We reserve the right to adjust the cost accordingly for overly large stumps, difficult work areas, stones, coral, wire fencing, uprooted stumps, etc. Pricing is per customer property and not to be combined with neighboring properties.

Do you take Credit Cards or Personal Checks?

At this time we don't accept credit cards. Personal checks are accepted if the customer can provide 2 forms of ID's that are current (one must be a legal photo ID) including the address where the service is being performed. The check to be used must have a complete address and match the ID provided (no P.O. boxes). Our service personal has the option to refuse any check or ask to provide more information before accepting any check. Payment arrangements are made before any work is performed.
